How we operate

Boring on purpose.

Reliability is not a feature we announce; it is a set of habits we keep. These are the ones that matter.

Continuous monitoring

We watch the web app, API, audit workers, and database around the clock, with alerts that reach a human the moment anything drifts from normal.

Nightly backups

The database is backed up every night with roughly 14 days of retention, so we can restore to a recent point if we ever need to.

Pre-deploy snapshots

Every deploy is preceded by a fresh snapshot. If a release misbehaves, we can restore the state from minutes before it shipped.

Staged deploys, instant rollback

Releases roll out in stages rather than all at once, and any deploy can be rolled back instantly. A bad release is a blip, not an outage.
Incident communication

If something breaks, you hear it from us first.

When an incident affects your audits or your data, we post an update on this page and email affected customers directly. The email says what happened, what we’re doing about it, and when to expect the next update. We keep updating until it’s resolved, then follow up with what we changed so it doesn’t happen again.
